With the promotion of the objectives of China’s “the Belt and Road” initiative and the establishment of infrastructure investment banks and other institutions in countries along the the Belt and Road, China and African countries will further deepen cooperation. In the future, the market prospects and trade growth rate in Africa will be significantly better than other regions. Therefore, leading Chinese enterprises to “bring in and go out” and truly occupy a place in the African market has profound significance for the next step of enterprise service work. In the context of economic globalization, establishing a social organization dedicated to promoting China Africa economic cooperation and promoting the common development of the Chinese and African economies is not only the expectation of enterprises, but also our unshirkable responsibility. With a mission on our shoulders and courage to move forward, the China Africa Economic Cooperation Development Working Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation has also emerged.

The China Association for Promoting International Economic&Technical Cooperation is a national first level society officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and its supervisory department is the Ministry of Commerce. The society was founded in 1992, with previous chairpersons including Dong Yuchang, Wang Xuan, Ni Guangnan, and Zheng Shushan. The current chairman is Yang Chunguang, a member of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and former deputy minister level deputy director of the National Civil Service Bureau. The honorary chairman is Simayi Tieliwaldi, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Eleventh National People’s Congress and member of the Party Leadership Group. The members of the Council and the development consortium include famous experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University and other institutions of higher learning; Representatives of enterprises such as Sinopec, China HNA, Everbright Xinglong Trust, China Qinghua Group, China Huayong Group, Yili Resources, China National Nuclear Construction Corporation, CRRC Corporation, Tsinghua Holdings, Wumart Group, China Poverty Alleviation and Development Corporation, and China Post Insurance Group.

The China Africa Economic Cooperation Development Working Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation is a platform established by the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation, dedicated to promoting exchanges, cooperation, and common development between China and African countries. The Chairman of the China Africa Economic Cooperation Development Working Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation is Ye Junyi. In recent years, the China Africa Economic Cooperation Development Working Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation has established good cooperative relationships with various African countries, such as Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Guinea Bissau, Algeria, Guinea, Ghana, Sudan, C ô te d’Ivoire, Gabon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Algeria, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Angola, Lesotho, etc., with the aim of building a mutually beneficial cooperation platform between China and Africa. At the same time, by organizing mutual visits and inspections, building economic and trade exchange forums, and hosting cross-border exhibitions between China and Africa, the committee fully leverages its resource advantages to create more cooperation opportunities for its member units.

The main function of the China Africa Economic Cooperation Development Working Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation is to coordinate multiple forces and help enterprises establish a service platform for international cooperation in multiple fields and at a deep level. The association will integrate government and overseas resources to provide investment promotion, consulting and public relations, investment and financing, commercial marketing, and cultural exchange services for Chinese enterprises, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other units. Organize participation in international exchanges and project cooperation between China and Africa. In addition, we will also give full play to the strengths of the China Africa Economic Cooperation and Development Working Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation, adhere to the concept of peace, development, cooperation and win-win, carry out exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields and at a deeper level, deepen China Africa practical cooperation, solidly promote high-quality joint construction of the “the Belt and Road”, and work together to build a high-level China Africa community of common destiny.
